MPA have been retained by a leading private clinic group to recruit for a Pain Physicians to join their team in Ottawa. The client is committed to offering cutting-edge pain management solutions for their patients, being a leader in the space they hold multiple clinics across Ontario.
The client provides with a range of services and treatments aimed at alleviating chronic pain and enhancing the quality of life for patients. They are a multidisciplinary team that provide integrated advanced medical techniques, innovative therapies, and personalized care to cater to the needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and assess pain conditions.
- Devise treatment plans using medical interventions, interventional procedures, and multidisciplinary approaches.
- Administer various pain management procedures, including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablation.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of accomplished medical professionals, including therapists, psychologists, and surgeons.
- Stay current with the latest developments in pain management for the provision of cutting-edge treatments.
- Cultivate strong patient relationships through effective communication, empathy, and a patient-centric approach.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a medical degree and possess an active medical license.
- Board certification in Pain Medicine/Anesthesiology or completion of an accredited pain management fellowship programme.
- Board certified to conduct fluoroscopy procedures, preferred.
- Demonstrate a track record of diagnosing and treating diverse chronic pain conditions.
- Showcase proficiency in interventional pain procedures and techniques.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both with patients and a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Showcase dedication to staying updated on advances in pain management and related medical fields.
