Family Physician - Executive & Occupational Health

Between $220 - $250 per hour

MPA are retained by a leading healthcare and telehealth provider to recruit for a Family Physician in Vancouver. As a healthcare leader, the client has several healthcare programs which include Primary Care, Prevention Medicine and Virtual Health.

In this role, you will focus upon Executive Health, Occupational screening and testing, health surveillance, travel and immigration medicals and injury prevention. You would see between 8 to 10 patients per day, allowing you to spend time with patients.

Responsibilities:

• As part of the team of dedicated health and wellness professionals you’ll be responsible for the provision of preventative executive health assessments, Occupational health medical exams to corporate clients’ employees seen in the clinic.
• Order laboratory tests, x-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to take initiative and foster a preventative care mindset; continually look for opportunities to improve health outcomes and maintain a health team for our corporate clients.

Requirements

• You are a physician licensed to practice in the province of BC
• You maintain medical liability insurance coverage through Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
• You are comfortable with using an EMR and workplace technology
• A passionate and empathetic individual who believes in patient-first care
• You believe in the benefit of team based care and enjoy working with a broader care team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferable

• Experience in Executive Medicine is an asset
• Experience in private health care delivery
• Experience in concierge private executive health and familiarity with the lifestyle and work demands of executive level clients
